Issac's First Christmas

Issac had a great first Christmas, lots of toys and tons of clothes. He did amazing considering the fact he was up past 8:30 for two nights in a row.

Christmas Eve

Issac had a wonderful time at his first Meneses Christmas Eve Party. His attitude towards Woodville has changed greatly since his last visit (just a bunch of screaming last time he was there). And although we left at 8:30, he didn't have a melt down!

Very Late Thanksgiving Pictures

Codey and Issac waiting to feast!

Issac experinced a lot of new foods; mashed potato's with gravy, candied yams, pumpkin pie, and his favorite... Grandma's wonderful cranberry jello.

Pops giving Issac a wedge!!! Too bad, Issac didn't want him to stop :)

Issac and Josh Shambaugh (the jolly green giant). It amazes me how much Issac adores Josh!

Seven Months

Issac has been a very busy boy the last month. On the 17th he learned how to army crawl and about a week later (the 23rd) he was full on crawling. Since he has been pulling himself up to his knees for the past week we knew it was about time to move the crib down. Needless to say, when he pulled himself up to his feet for the first time today, there was no waiting on the crib! And to top things off, mommy noticed he is cutting his first tooth!!!!

Six Months

Now that Issac has mastered the art of rolling over, he is all over the place. Rarely do we find him in the same spot we left him. For a baby who hated being on his belly, we can hardly keep him off it now, which makes for difficult diaper and clothing changes. Issac is getting up on all fours and attempting to crawl. He has mastered the art of hopping his back legs forward, but hasn't figure out he has to move his arms forward to go anywhere. The house will need to be baby proofed soon!

Weekend with Ms. Mallory

Mommy took Issac to stay the night with Auntie Meg, Uncle Chris and Mallory. It was so cute to watch them roll over each other and get to know each other more. Issac took one to the eye, but got over it quickly and probably deserved it because he kept taking Mallory's toys right out of her hand. We headed to the pumpkin patch. Issac wasn't excited to have the hay poking him in the back and Mallory was pretty tired by the time we made it to the pumpkins. Overall a great trip and I believe we have started a Pumpkin Patch tradition!

Five Months

Issac is becoming very mobile the last couple of weeks. He is rolling from his belly to back and back to belly. Until this week, he hated being on his belly, but now that he has figured out he can get thing's he's not supposed to the belly's not too bad. Issac is slowly working on sitting up by himself, but only if daddy or mommy put him in that position.
At five months old, Issac weigh's 16 pounds (75th %), lenghth 26 1/4 (90th %), and his head is 43 cm ("really big" according to his doctor).

Yummy Rice

At twenty weeks, Issac show's a lot of interest in food. He's in his Bumbo at the table with us for family breakfast and dinner and watch's us intently as we eat. Tonight we let him try rice cereal for the first time. The texture was a little strange for him with the first bit, but we think he really like's it. Now, if he can figure out he has to open his mouth wide to get the spoon in!
