Swimming

Today Issac got in the pool for the first time. We gradually put more and more of his body into the pool and after the initial shock he was very relaxed. I'm sure he'll be asking for a pool in his own back year sooner then we'd like to hear!

Pismo Beach

The view from our balcony.

All bundled up for the overcast weather.

First foot steps in the sand.

The water was cold for his little feet.

We decided to meet the Baldwin's for a mini-vacation. Our room was steps away from the beach and within walking distance of the pier. This was Issac's first beach experience, and besides the wind in his face, we think he really enjoyed it.

Fourth of July

For Issac's first Fourth of July, he and mommy went to the Shambaugh's to have a wonderful BBQ and watch the firework show at the country club. Issac took a couple little cat naps and was ready to go for the firework show, but wasn't comfortable with the load noises. After about 20 minutes of startling him with each bang and boom mommy took him home. Although, we had lot of fireworks going off in the neighborhood, once Issac was safe in his crib, he was able to fall asleep.

First time Issac has lasted longer then five minute's in his swing.

Two Months Today!

At two months you would think we would have a better routine down, but we don't. Every time we think we have Issac on a schedule, he shakes things up for us. Just like last night, he went to bed at 5:45 and only woke up to eat. Right now he is eating about every three hours during the day and four to five hours at night. He is slowly learning how to put himself to sleep, but if overtired needs Mommy's help. Issac also prefers to nap in Daddy's bed, but still sleeps all night in his crib.
