Issac's 1st Birthday

It's been a whirl wind of a year and hard to believe it has gone by so fast. As you know, Issac is walking like a pro, says many words, and had two (with a couple coming in) on his birthday. We actually had our first rough teething day on the 1st, but really can't blame him. Six at once is a little hard! Issac's party was so much fun and we think he had a blast too!

First Easter

After a long nap and a short trip to church, Issac was showered with Easter bunny gifts. He had an amazing day playing at Tia Angela's with all his cousins and at the park. And finding an easter egg at the grandparents. Once Issac was able to get his first egg open and found a peep, that was all he needed (thank God).

Issac Walking

Issac started walking on April 9th. He is pretty much at a run and if he needs to get somewhere fast, understands it's a lot easier crawling his way there. He learned how to free stand a week later (April 17th), but doesn't do it often.

11 months

Issac is a bundle of joy. This month he had his first ER visit and fever. I'm excited it took 10 months for him to give mommy and daddy their first real scares, but nothing to major. When he went to the ER mid-month, he was 29 inches and 19 + pounds. Which means, he no longer fits in his baby carrier and moved up to his big boy car seat. As of the first he weighted in at home 20 lbs. So, he is now forward facing and thinks he is king of the car! Although he is not confident walking without holding on to something, he love to move fast and finds it's a lot easier to get where he want to go, if he crawls. Issac now asks for balls "bau" and can throw them (along with many other things). He refused to be fed, except breakfast, so it has been hard to figure out what to feed him. We are looking forward to his big birthday next month!

First trip to the ER

After three hours of throwing up, which lead to dry heaving, mommy decided to take Issac to the Emergency Room. While waiting to be seen Issac threw up several times, but as soon as we were taken back he was able to drink about six ounces of water without throwing up. Needless to say, when the doctor came to check on him, Issac was either running across the bed or trying to visit the other patients. It was a little embarrassing that he was so happy, while the other kids where in so much pain. Today his tummy still has the "yucks," but he has been able to keep a bottle and some breakfast down.

10 months

Like every other month thus far, Issac is growing and learning so much. He now associates the meaning of words, is standing for longer periods of time without holding on to anything, and took two steps on his own. He claps for himself often (sometime when he shouldn't) and loves to dance to the video's on daddy's iPhone. No new teeth, but eating more solid foods. Issac loves feeding himself fruit, frozen veggies, and anything off mommy and daddy's plate.
